Here is a BRIEF summary of the Continuing Education CE CEU requirements for massage therapists by state. Requirements are determined by each state, and may change, so if you are in doubt about your status, please contact the licensing board for the state in question. If you are have national certification through NCBTMB, you will need to meet their requirements of 48 CE hours every four years, even if your state does not have licensing or does not require continuing education to maintain your licensing.

If you are a massage therapist practicing in any of the states in RED, the continuing education courses offered on this web site can meet at least some of your CE CEU requirements, in addition to your NCBTMB, AMTA, and ABMP requirements. If you live in a state with black text below, you should contact your state licensing board's web page for a list of approved courses/providers. Note that many states require fewer hours than NCBTMB requires. If you need more hours for NCBTMB than your state requires, you may get those CE Hours from any of the courses offered in this web site.
